Design Engineer

Requirements

• Design, test and release chilled beam products

• Establish, manage and communicate project deliverables

• Understand and comply with safety standard requirements

• Initiate and lead design, design reviews, and preproduction builds with multi-discipline development team
• Manage the creation of internal and external design documentation including bill of materials and submittals

• Support the collection and evaluation of product costs

• Support the production of new and existing chilled beam products

• Evaluate test data and implement appropriate actions

Qualifications

• Required: B.S in Engineering (emphasis in Mechanical or equivalent)
• Strong computer based skills and proficiency with 3d CAD and MS Office applications
• Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing or HVAC industry a plus
• Understanding of design for manufacturability concepts
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with peers to resolve issues and implement change
• Self-motivated
• Technical and mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
• Strong affiliation with Price's Corporate Values
